Lawn Tennis Association case study

As a learning technology provider, we have had the privilege of working with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to deliver a comprehensive anti-doping eLearning program to their elite players.

Elite and amateur tennis players are subject to strict rules and regulations when it comes to taking medication and supplements. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) wanted to ensure that their players were compliant with the governing guidelines to maintain a fair and safe competition. In response to this need, the LTA partnered with Disrupt, an e-learning company, to develop an engaging and interactive e-learning course called LTA Anti-doping.

Background

The Lawn Tennis Association is the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain. The LTA is responsible for developing and promoting tennis in the country, from grassroots to elite level. One of the areas of responsibility for the LTA is ensuring that all tennis players, both amateur and professional, comply with the anti-doping rules and regulations.

Solution

The LTA partnered with Disrupt, an e-learning company, to develop an engaging and interactive e-learning course that would educate their players on the anti-doping rules and regulations. Disrupt worked closely with the LTA to develop a bespoke e-learning course that met their specific needs. The course included bespoke animation, interactive quizzes, and real-life scenarios to engage players and ensure they understood the governing guidelines.

Bespoke eLearning design

Disrupt’s team of instructional designers worked with the LTA to identify the key learning objectives for the course. They then developed a storyboard and script that outlined the content of the course. Once the storyboard and script were approved, Disrupt’s team of animators began creating bespoke animations that would bring the content to life. The animations were designed to be engaging and informative, and they helped to reinforce the key learning points.

In addition to the animations, Disrupt also developed interactive quizzes that were embedded throughout the course. These quizzes helped to reinforce the key learning points and ensure that players were retaining the information they were learning.

Outcome

The e-learning course developed by Disrupt was a huge success. The players found the course engaging and informative, and they were able to learn about the anti-doping rules and regulations in a fun and interactive way. The bespoke animation and quizzes helped to reinforce the key learning points and ensured that players retained the information they learned.

The e-learning course also had other benefits for the LTA. By providing the course online, the LTA was able to ensure that all players had access to the training.
